58 CJ6 vs 52 M38A1

Is the block from a 58 CJ6 the same as the block (interchangable) with the block for a 52 M38A1?

Yes the bare engine is interchangeable. If the A1 has stock 24 volt electrics, ignition and stock fuel system you will need the accessories from the A1 engine.
