unit markings

i uncovered the unit markings on my m38a1, is there a website i can look for this jeeps history through the markings? thxs for any info

Not actually just for unit markings ID. You'll need to download the Army regs for the markings and try to decipher them using the reg examples and lists. Then once you determine the unit then google the web pages for that unit and fish for photos of vehicles showing markings so you can determine about what period in time the markings like yours were used by that unit. Thant's about as good as it will get.

TB 746-93-1 for the mid 50's thru the 60's..
