The current tires on my M38 Jeep are 6.50x16. In the next weeks I want to change to the original 7.00x16. My question is now will the inner tubes also fit to the 7.00? A friend of mine (car mechanic) told me all 6.00 tubes will fit. I´m asking because I have seen that a shop here in Germany is offering inner tubes for 6.00x16 with a different item number to the 7.00x16.

You should use the correct size 700 tube.
