Front seat cushion

I have the original on there, which is so tall, I have to duck my head while I drive. I ordered a new one, from Kaiser/Willies that looks the same, but is half the height. Does anyone know why the originals were so tall?

Most jeep drivers in the service in 1950 thru 1965 were skinnier and shorter and about 18 to 26 years old.

It's all those hormones in the milk! I'm only 5' 10" tho, I wonder how tall most GIs were?

When I got drafted in 1966 I was 68" and that put me right in the middle of the formation during drill.
