Glove box panels

Post by Bretto »

Does the bottom panel of the glove box front edge rest on top of the dash lip or just bolt up from the bottom. This pic looks like its on top and makes more sense that way. Mine was bolted from the bottom.

Mine appears to be on top of the lip. However, I'm still in the tear-down and this is one of those items that is a nightmare for me. All connection points are rusted solid with no signs of liberation! I took some pics earlier today that might help you see how mine rests but I can't guarantee if its correct. I'll post later...gotta clean up!

No hurry. Wes's pic looks like its on top. I tried to see if I could get it in there with the lip on top, no dice. It was running into the firewall cage nuts and side bracket. Looking at the paint on it, it was on the bottom and then it looks at one time there was something else underneath it.
