shifter knobs

trying to pick up some odds and ends for my m38a1. purchased 2 knobd for trans and transfer off of ebay. recieved them today and notice a size difference. back in the day where they any size difference in these, they are suppose to be nos.

transfer case nobs are smaller and round. Transmission is larger and oval in shape. Unless both of my m38's are wrong

vrod02, sorry i should have been more clear on what i was asking. the knobs i bought that are supposed to be nos are smaller than the ones that were on my jeep when i bought it. so if the knobs are truly nos would they be smaller? thxs

It would help if you give us the information from the NOS ball's wrappings and packaging. There should have been some part numbers, contract numbers and dates on the packages.

wesk, there were no numbers or info on the package. the only info was on the ebay ad that i posted in the beginning of the post.

Well without those packages one cannot really sell them honestly as NOS. And there is no way to determine what they were made for or by whom they were made. They could be offshore repops labeled NOS in that ad.
