Military Junior Oil Filter

Post by henrydes »

Would love to see pictures of a Military Junior Filter and dipstick tube installed on a M38. Thanks in advance.

Only the six pilot model M38's had the military junior from the factory. M38's converted from the Cuno to the Junior in the field would have used the civilian mount bracket used on the CJ3A or left over military stocks of MB brackets. The dipdtick does not change.

Wes, in the upper left corner of the photo theres a filter of some
sort mounted to the firewall of the MB. I have one of them in a
box of random parts that came with my M-38. Can you please
enlighten me as to it's function and application??
