Cylinder Head Bolts
I need to loosen three cylinder head bolts on my M38 to install the crossover tube bracket and the lifting ring. Should I loosen all bolts and re-torque in the proper sequence, or would it be OK to just re-torque the three that will be loosened? My engine is running great, and I don't want to get into a can of worms.

The three you take out be sure to clean and reseal the threads with Permatex #2 or equivalent.
No need to disturb the rest.

Anti-seize is a NO. It will prevent you from applying the correct torque.
Sealant is only needed on the threads in the block.
I am not at all fond of RTV. Permatex #1 or 2 should be used.
