Thanks guys. I get it now. The distributor is installed correctly. Still have some items to complete before I can attempt to fire it up.
Any suggestions on batteries.? Also I was going to make my own cables. Can either of you provide any tips ?

You need two 2HN batteries to be correct on the installation. The alternate would be the closest fitting civilian battery group 22NF.

Welding wire from a welding equipment supplier. It is a little bit more expensive then regular battery cable but it is a whole lot better conductor.
