One "Bubbas" original glove box latch catch installed, don't know how "correct" it is but I didn't drill any new holes and the glove box stays closed! LOL!

If anyone has a picture of a correct one please post, who knows, it might be in some of the stuff dad took off the old M38 back when its job was hunting jeep.

Thanks

Thanks for the pic Wes, when I made my catch I had to curv it, bring it towards the glove box door for it to catch. In your pic it looks to go strait down after it passes the box lip.
Either way I am just tickled to have it stay closed, so tired of driving along, looking over and it being wide open. (the smallest things can be so aggrivating)
After I pay off all the parts I bought for the new top, next on the list is the refrence guide you guys wrote! Untill then I'll keep asking silly questions,LOL!

Thanks again!

Wes,

Wes's picture wouldn't display for me. Not sure if it's my caveman computer, or if that hosting site went awol. :? This is the same as the one I took off my M38, but our great friend Bubba may have got to it before me:

The vendor says NOS M38. Maybe someone can confirm if that's definitely M38?

Thanks Owen.
The link in Wes's post points to a website that host pics, it may no longer be valid or the pic was pulled. Its not your computer :D
That fleabay pic gives me enough info to try to fab one. Thanks.
Tempting to just buy it now for that price.

I had over a thousand photos on my "MyPicGallery.com" album when about 1 1/2 years ago the web site just dumped and never offered any explanation or refunds. It tool me 5 years to build up that collection of photos and organize it into jeep models and topics. I am not looking forward to redoing all that work.

B**tards! But I know a site that has photo storage facilities, and folks only too willing to give advice when you most need it:

http://www.willysmjeeps.com/

Oh wait, you're co-owner of that site! Keep up the fantastic work, Wes & Co; we may not say it often enough, but we really appreciate all you guys do for us! :D

I am slowly building a new reference photo storage album here.
http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules. ... _album.php

It'll take a while.

Thanks for the pat on the back. Ryan has been a wee bit busy with the Army this past year, my business is booming all of a sudden and we lost our computer guru and web site manager last month. So we two (Not so computer savvy) web site owners are working overtime at tasks we are barely familiar with. Any volunteers out there with server experience and programming backgrounds?
