Regarding the rifle clip above my m38 instrument panel. Can somebody please confirm which gun it was designed to hold . TNX.

It will easily hold the M1 Garand, M-1 Carbine and the M-14...

I do not believe it will carry the M-16 or variants due to the handle on the rifle...

Will also hold a Thompson - there is another loop for the end of the barrel.
