Shocks

Post by ECVJeeps »

I have a set of shocks that came on the jeep and was wondering if they are correct.
The vehicle is a M38CDN
The writing on them is:
MA
WILLYS
Made In Canada
80099
W 6-52 Front
pat. no. 2004380

The rear are the same number except with "Rear" on them and the stone guard.

Would these be correct?
Thanks
1952 M38CDN (in progress)
1942 GPW 51859(in waiting)
M100 CDN #0548(in progress)
M100 CDN #0281

Not for a US built M38. I cannot answer for a M38CDN.

Okay I know this is older but I just pulled mine and found very similar.
M.A.
WILLYS
Made in Canada
800991
W 6-52 FRONT
Pat No 2004380
& No 2078364
The rear is similar, more rusted though so I can't make out the pat Nos but it is 800992 and says rear. I think this may be the factory one, I have one rear that has been replaced and it has the stone guard plate. If you want any more info or pics let me know. I have been taking lots but don't want to load the site down.
