on an m38a1. it's an AC PUMP and has the number 4260 on the mounting flange and a primer lever fuel and vac. looking through the downloads section on fuel pumps and didnot see this pump with the primer lever. can someone tell me the series of this pump. thxs

It would be the third series of AC pump introduced to the M38A1. It was common for AC to only place the last four digits of the AC part number on the flange of the pump. You'll find that pump listed in the M38A1 ORD 9 SNL G-758 dated SEP 1956 on page 83.

wesk is the rebuild imformation located in the download section, if so as stated above i cannot find it. im having the carb rebuilt tomarrow and would like to print a copy for him to look at. thxs

Yes, under "Downloads" click on "M38, M38A1: Drivetrain" then click on "Engine".

The Fuel Pump Manual is under "Main/M38, M38A1, M170, M606" and is not in a sub-file.
