Where can I find some good info on determining how many shims to install on the back of the transfer case? I haven't opened up the case but I am replacing the casting with the speedo drive in it with another one.
Since I'm not opening the transfer case is it likely I can just put the existing stack back on?
Sorry for all the questions but I do appreciate the help.

The best description....or at least procedure...I've ever come across can be found at
http://www.willystech.com/wt/Model18TCa ... rCase.html
I used this and their guide to the T-90 transmission rebuild and both worked out excellently for me.......good luck.
