fording question

Did all M38s have the fording set up? I'm thinking yes. If not, was there anything at the dash where the pull handle would be otherwise? I have the hole but not the fording set up and dont intend to anytime soon. I may just throw the handle in there with the brass plate to mock it up.

Yes all M38's and the early M38A1 thru serial MD29295 had the basic fording provisions and vent system.
