L-134 VS F-134 CARB CROSSOVER TUBE

Post by RICKG »

I have a L-134 motor. Unfortunately i have a F-134 carb crossover tube.
I'd like, if possible, to convert the F-134 tube to L-134. Aside from the obvious mt bracket difference, what else should i look for? I dont have a L-134 tube to compare side to side. I expect the venting differences between the flathead and OHV motor will come into play. Plz advise,
Thx Rick.

Heres a few views of each in my photo albums:

M38: http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules. ... php&page=3

M38A1: http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules. ... _album.php

There are several subtle differences. Note that the A1 has two 90 deg vent tubes inside vs the M38's one.
