Spare tire hole size.

Post by jeepers52 »

Hello All

What is the correct diameter or size of the holes on the passenger side of an M38, behind the wheel well, where the spare tire would be mounted if not on the tailgate? In other words, where the spare tire would be mounted if it was a CJ3a.

Thank you

Do yourself a favor and use a step drill bit. It will not dance around the hole like a regular drill bit in a hole that size.
