Thank you all for your kind words.... without the hard work and guidance of my good friend Dave Crompton and all the advice and parts I got thru this site I would never have been able to do it. I'm pretty happy with the result.
Foxmike - I wouldn't let the winter stop me except for the @%$&! salt they put on the roads. That doesn't mean I might not try her on some of the back roads after a nice fresh snowfall...

WillFreeman - I plan to drive this Jeep, not just haul her around to shows. I live in a rural area with lots of good gravel roads. I'm also less than two hours from some national forests with great fire roads and trails to explore. I've put nearly 600 miles on her in the last month, including a real test on some of those trails in northern Michigan. If I'm only going 40-50 miles I'll drive there, otherwise it's on the trailer I bought for the purpose. I got the trailer because I decided that flat towing would be too much wear and tear on a 60 year old Jeep. I have a lot of faith in my Jeep and also carry a well-equipped tool kit

Skyjeep - the fall colors have been incredible this year despite the funny weather. There is still a lot of color to be seen and I hope to be able to enjoy it. You'd be more than welcome to take a tour...
Oilleaker - I have a nice M38A1 parts Jeep that would actually make a nice project, but probably for someone else. If I started something at this point I suspect I'd end up having to sleep in it

I need to give my wife some time to warm up to the idea.
Bretto - still no resolution to the clutch issue. We adjusted it a bit which seems to have helped.... most times it is just fine.... just now and then. If I ever do get to the bottom of it I will post the results. At this point, I'm just not ready to tear into a job that big unless I have to.
Thanks again! I truly appreciate all the support!
