Vent Tube size
What size tubing goes from the carburetor vent to the crossover tube, and from the crossover tube to the distributor?

Both are 3/16", the one from the carb vent to the crossover tube is steel and the one from the crossover to the distributor is copper...
Ken, I think you bought one of my vent line kits; if so the 9" copper line is the one from the vent to the distributor, the 27" line is the one from the distributor to the wiper/vaccum pump tee... it requires a clamp on one of the head bolts where the lift bracket is... that is what the loom on that one is for...
Hope this helps...

Ok thanks.
I read a post somewhere that the owner of a vehicle had to disconnect the vent line from the carburetor because his vehicle would not run very well. That was all he said about it in his post. Have you had a problem with this? Maybe his line was plugged up.

He may have been missing the .040 restrictor that went in the suck line for the distributor and was using up too much vacuum.
