Oil drip
I already have an oil drip from my bell housing after only running the engine a short time. Engine oil. I hope it clears up after the break in.

Keep in mind that engine oil leaking from the bell housing drain hole can come from two places. The rear seal and the rear cam journal welsh plug.

I just recently got all the that stuff mounted and put together. all except the engine which has been rebuilt since 2003. I really don't expect an oil leak to repair itself. I suppose the best time to find out where it it coming from is now while I still have the tub off. And I was slowly making some progress.

I went an picked my engine up today. The cause of the oil leak was that the rear seal had turned some, How, they didn't know. I talked to the man that recalls doing the engine the first time. He figures maybe he didn't put enough lubricant on it. Or, it (the engine) set up too long before I started it. I don't quite buy that respose since many engines sit up after manufacture before being used. Anyway I wasn't charged for the work. Hopfully I will get it running again soon.
