Axle Compatibility...

Post by OKCM38CDN »

Can I replace the left side of an axle with a Sicer replacement and not worry about the other side if it is a Bendx or Repezza???

Or do I need to change both out and make them match?

Trying to calculate costs and options... still need to tear the front axle down, but need to caculate costs also...

But you must adjust the steering stops to the most conservative value so you do not damage the knuckle joint which tolerates the least amount of travel.
Bendix = 23 Degs.
Rzeppa = 29 Degs.
Spicer = 27.5 Degs.

You must also set end play up correctly for each type axle. IE threaded end vs floating non-threaded end.
