Im having trouble getting a correct fuel level reading on my m381,Ive put a 12volt gauge on and i beleive the float assembly has been changed to 12 volt as well .I checked resistance on the float assembly and it seems to vary well with the different levels but gauge stays at 1/4 full.Is there a standard gauge wire and legnth to the gauge??
thanks in advance,
pete

The gauge and the float (sender) must be matched pair. Can you read any part numbers and brands on the gauge and the sender?
