Passenger side Frame body mount

I noticed in several pictures of frames as well as on a frame I have that the #2 passenger side body mount location has what I guess is an extension. I thought it might just be a one off thing on my frame but not so much anymore. I dont have a picture of my frame on hand but I found a photo from Wes's photo album when search for information. Just curious what its about? It is the mount right next to the writing regarding the voltage regulator mount.

If there is thread that speaks about it please let me know? I did a some searching in forums but could find anything specific.

Thanks, I just found some more information on it. I think I answered my own question. Should have spent a couple more minutes looking before asking the question.
