Carb & distributor vent lines.

Are there any pics or diagrams of the vent lines? My M-38 had a WO carb but I replaced it with a YS. I understand a vent line runs from the carb to the air intake. The fitting on the intake has a line run to the dist. I think this line goes to the carb but where should the line on the back side of the dist. go? What size copper should the lines be? Appreciate any help. Thanks
