Can someone be so kind to get the dimensions of the stock used for the M38 shovel bracket.

Mine's good 'ol 1" x 1/8" stock. You know you got a
stick of that layin around..

It looked pretty simple to make. With not having one in hand to copy, it proved difficult with the angles and curve. Its not perfect but it will do the job.

You'll want to countersink the holes and use flathead slotted screws.
They're a #10 or 12 i think. Looks like you hit the shape right on..

Ya I know. I'm just going to let the round head slotted screws do the job and be hidden away behind the shovel head.
Here's the shovel I rounded up. Fits the tub like a glove.

Got it all mounted up and in order to avoid the shovel point rubbing away at the tub, I made up the cover.
