Need help identifying these parts

Post by 32sbct »

My M38 came without a body and most of the small parts were in several milk crates. I have identified all of them except those shown below. To further confuse the issue, some MB parts were mixed with the M38 parts. Take a look at the photo below. For ease of identity, the first row will be parts 1-5 (starting from the left), row two 6-10, and row three 11-14. Also for those parts where only one is shown please let me know if only one is required or am I missing one. Thanks for your help.

Number 12 looks like windshield pivots which attach to
the sides below the folding hood.

This is what I believe these to be:
1. Bracket over top bow bracket on right side of tub (only one required)
2. Rear seat hold-down brackets
3. Rear seat pivot brackets (for M151?)
4. Windshield hold-down brackets that mount on windshield
9. Streering column seal
10. Hood clamp bracket (mounts on hood- two required)
11. Snorkel bracket mounts on right fender (one required)
13. Goes over the transfer case shifters
14. Shackel spacers

Thanks all. Kendall, the M151 parts don't surprise me. This jeep was my brothers. We were both in the Guard back in the late eighties when we still had the M151A2. My brother used to bring home all kinds of parts that were being tossed as we transitioned to HUMVEEs. I thought I had sorted all of those out but I was not sure about any of these parts.

7) Steering column clamp (bolts to bottom of dash)
8) Floor access plate - for heater (maybe)

#5 looks like the right hand bracked that bolts to the inside of the windshield frame for the rifle scabbard.
