which way does it go - carb gasket (M38)

Post by Texbillhs »

I have forgotten which way the 'metal tent - defuser' goes on the carb to manifold insulator/gasket. Pp 154 c. installation (1) TM 9-8012 doesn't mention it.

The Metal V won't fit inside the throttle body of the carb!

Need for device

How effective is this device at smoothing the idle characteristics? I ask because I don't have one installed.
