When I disassembled the carborator a few months ago when I first got my 38A1, it looked like $&%!

After I took apart the insides, I discovered it looked even worse. Fuel deposits everywhere -- and there was this white powder everywhere, that I assumed was lead. Not to mention all the parts! But I finally bit the bullet last weekend and this weekend and fixed it all up! Lots of elbow grease, scotch brite, Mineral sprits, POR-15 and a can of clear coat went towards this.


Not to shabby for a 16 year old, eh?

I do have one question though. I know of companys like AJP and stuff that sell "show carbs" -- for...well...show vehicles. I was wondering if anyone had one of these, and I would like to see how mine compares.
