I might have asked this before, but what is the length of the double (male/female) ended intervehicular cable - 6'? I have a much longer cable made for a larger trailer - possibly 10-12' - that I bought at a rally last year. I was thinking that I could get an electrician to shorten it for me.
Also, I have an M100 rolling chassis up for sale. I also have the fenders for sale. I am looking to get $400 for the chassis and $100 for the fenders. The tub was rusted out when I got it, so it was cut off and scrapped. The frame was blasted and epoxy primed approx. 13yrs ago.
I will not part the chassis out. I can post pics if there is any interest.

Chet,
That trailer came with the late harness with the douglas connectors tucked into the right drawbar "C" channel and connected to the intervehicle cable there. Harness assy ORD# 10924552, NSN 2590-00-863-5602 and cable, intervehicle assy ORD# 8722864 NSN 2590-00-855-9304
The two hole M416 "V" casting is handy with the ability to change the lunette height depending on what your tow vehicle is. One warning though, the M416 has a wider frame so the draw bar angles are wider and will not match the angle of your M100 drawbars. You would have to bend your drawbars to make it work with the M416 "V" casting.
Matt, The longer cable probably came off a early M103 1T trailer if it has two plugs or a M105 1T if it's a single plug. The early M100 cable with two plugs was 76" and the later with one plug was 80".
Willys Jeep Parts shows both cables available:
Late M100

If you need to repair the plug ends or repin them the instructions are in the downloads section in TM 9-1825E Bendix connectors.

Man, with those prices I sure am glad I bought that cable for $35! Now all I have to do is get it shortened to 72"! I guess I'll give my electrician a copy of the 1825E.Matt, The longer cable probably came off a early M103 1T trailer if it has two plugs or a M105 1T if it's a single plug.
