We had a big melt today and I got out to the M38 before our next snow... spring needs to get here!
From the top edge of the rope channel to the top edge of the pressed rectangles on the vent panel I got 17 1/16th" using a tape measure clipped on the rope channel top edge measuring down to the vent panel. Ends of rope channel would be equal from ends of rope channel to edge of windshield frame. Of course the rope channel would be level. I have no idea what the +/- would be in regard to accuracy. These would of been made on a welding jig most likely so accuracy would be consistent. The rope channel ever so slightly over hangs the rubber windshield gasket by about 1/16" to 1/8th" estimate.
