User Names are a necessity of just about every web site for log-in purposes. They weren't meant to replace a person's real first name or real first name nickname. The use of faddish, CB Handle style, usernames has been spreading a lot lately.
Most old timers prefer to have serious technical discussions with a person not a handle. It only takes a moment to go to your profile and add your first name or actual first name nickname and the model jeep you own in your signature block which shows up at the bottom of all your posts.
This kinda puts all of us on the same page.
