Hello:

Does any one know where i can purchase distributor governor weight springs? Part number AL-IGB-284?

Do a search of this site. This was discussed less than a year ago. There were no sources for the correct springs and several substitutes were discussed.

I have the correct ones, but I live in the Netherlands.

Chris they are correct for the F134 in his M170. Do you have the other springs for the earlier L134 distributors? The set PN IGE24S or the individual springs IGE24.

You mean for the distributor IAU 4006UT?
This spring I did not, but if you need them,I can look for you in Netherlands.

Hey Brian,

I think I was the one that had that thread going last year. I called around to all of the dealers. A couple of them had the springs but wouldn't sell them - they would only rebuild your distributor for $250 (or whatever the price was)! I know these springs are rare, but they can't be replicated?

On the other hand, Chris says he has them - buy them from him! He's a great guy and will get them to you VERY quickly. I think I got a cd from him in 9 days from the Netherlands!
