52 M38A1 Spring Shackles

Post by SFCKUNERT »

Has anybody every had any issues with the Omix-Ada Spring Shackles for thier M38A1? What about the spring shackle bushings they market?
If no issues, do you have the model number for those products? I'm able to get them on Amazon Prime with no shipping charge which sure helps.

I bought the spring bushings - undersize, so they were loose. I would like to know about the shackles myself.

For some reason, I keep going back (like a moth to a flame) - I guess I am just too cheap to pay for the US made stuff the first time. I have bought sooo much stuff from them and had only a few things that worked without modification.[/u]

Thanks Wil. I'll let you know what I find out, if anything. Oh, and your blog is quite the inspiration to my project.
Any chance I can email you directly?

I have heard that Omix-Ada stuff is on the cheaper quality end.

spring shackles

I just today installed a set made by Crown and I'm pleased with them. They look good and everything went together good and snug. Mine is a M-38 but I would guess the A1 would have the same results.
