I ordered the carb rebuild kit from midwest military for my M38a1
The new springs and I think the meter rod are different sizes then the ones that were already in my carb.

If you will compare your photo to the dozen or so comparison photos in my technical photo album you'll see some used a YS637S metering rod spring in your YS950S carb.
