Not sure if the pickups are the same, but I know the hole pattern in an omix ada(mine was from Rugged Ridge) tank is not correct - I had to weld up and drill/tap all new holes for mine to fit. Same with the sending unit holes - the float wasn't clocked right when bolted down.
Hence my statement "never buy anything omix ada unless you want an ill fitting or non fitting part". Their prices are right, but most of the time they come with the cost of your labor or just not having a correct part. This is my experience with everything I bought from them about 3 years ago (Front floor pan, tank, rear panel, and water pump). I MADE the body panels and tank fit, but ended up re selling the pump (at a loss, with a warning to the buyer) on ebay.[/u]

My mistake - I see your main question was "are the screw patterns the same on the fuel pick up m38 and 38a1" - sorry for the rant!
I wasn't meaning to come off as an ***hole - I just use every chance I can get to bring attention to the fact that these are VERY inferior parts that will require lots of work to make them "work". Since yours is already installed, the hard part is done.
