M170/ M38a1 Steering gear capacity

Easy Question. Is there a pre-determined amount for filling an empty Ross steering gear, could not find a capacity for the ross gear.
I know i could fill until oil flows out fill hole, but just though if there is a set amount, i would just add that amount.
