Our 4th of July Parade

Post by cabinfever »

It was my pleasure to honor three WWII veterans in today's Fourth of July parade. They were thrilled to sit in a military Jeep again. Each veteran is more than 90 years old, one being 97. Along the route, people stood, cheered, and clapped. I had a hard time keeping the tears from my eyes. These are my heros! The Greatest Generation!

Best use of a restored MV. Outstanding, I love talking to the vets at my parents retirement village. Great memories. Got the old pictures from my dad in Vietnam, my great uncle in WWII, and a few from my grandfather in WWI.

Your M38A1 looks great, can't wait for mine to look that way. When I get it finished I'll give rides to the vets at the retirement village. They enjoy it, but you get the blessing.

Thanks for posting.
