M38a1 Gas Pedal Hinge pin spring.

Post by Nic »

Guys

A quick question were the 38a1s fitted with the small spring plate that sat under the pedal and wrapped around the pedal pin hinge assembly?

Or did it just rely on the pedal return spring that attaches to the engine block

Thank You

Regards

There were three springs used in the accelerator pedal linkage. The shaft spring on the bellcrank at the base of the carb and the long spring at the left side of the block that tensioned the intermediate bellcrank downward. These two were on all production units. Then there was a pedal hinge spring used through MD76674.
