M38 or civilian frame

Post by Gramps54 »

I have a frame that I need to identify, I was told it is a cj5 frame. When i got home & put by my 54 M38A1 frame, i noticed the frame shackles are reversed. I think it is a cj3b frame. if anybody wants, pm me & I will send the pictures. As I am new to this forum, I am not sure how to upload pictures yet.

Thanks,
Lincoln

Lincoln,
Are the front frame rails boxed in?

They are boxed on the M38 and M38A1. Not sure about the CJ5, but if it isn't its not an M38A1 frame.

no, they are not. I cannot find any serial #'s on this frame, I think the sandblasting took care of them

thanks!
