Hi everyone as you already may know I recently bought a M38a1 however there are some issues with my cars paint. I assume the previous painted some anti rust paint...
I also assume that the paint on my M38a1 is not correct, the tone is a bit too green and not olive.
Can anyone please tell me what is the original paint code that was used on the m38a1 in the 1960s or in general?
Thank you in advance,
p.s. I tired uploading images,but I did not succeed.

For the Army, they left Willys/Kaiser with OD2430. In the field the Army repainted them with 24087. 2430 favors the olive/gray/green look and 24087 is the brown look.

Paint
24087 Did not come on the scene until 1959. Prior to that, it was 319 in a semi gloss. More of a muddy brown if you will. We stock the correct color for the early 1950's trucks in both Enamel and Urethane.
