Ball bearing inside YS637 carb

Post by Mjfire1949 »

1952 Willys M38, 24 volt, #65666. I had surgery over the winter and was only able to start my M38 every couple of weeks and let it idle. The first time I drove it I barely made it home. The fuel filter was clogged with junk. I pulled the tank and cleaned it and blew out the fuel line. The carb is newly rebuilt last summer. I've taken it apart to clean it and didn't see where that tiny ball bearing fell out of. I know I've read a thread on this, but I can't seem to find it. I've looked at the pictures on the downloads, but I don't see that ball bearing. I did find a small amount of junk in the carb. Thanks in advance.

You can see the Discharge Check Ball HH and the weight JJ above it.

Thanks Wes. I thought that's where it went, but I would be guessing. I will bookmark these pics. Thanks again.
