I might be blind but I can't find a diagram that shows how the fording cable runs from the firewall into the engine compartment. I have a new cable I bought and want to set it up..... looked through the ORD 9 SNL G-740 and my other manuals and haven't found a diagram that shows what I'm looking for.
Please direct me if I'm just not looking in the right spot.
Thanks!

Josh,

I never found any clear ones. The best figures in the TM's are:

TM 9-804
Fig 18

TM 9-8012
Fig's 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 33, 34, 44, 45

TM 9-1804B
Fig 9

There are no clear views of the cable pair passing thru the firewall hole.

Here's our 2 firewall maps:

This image is from the very early M38 TM 9-804. Look closely and you will see three cables passing thru the firewall just below & left of the letter "G". They are the choke, throttle & left fording cables. Now just below the letter "F" the right fording cables passes thru the firewall.
