Fuel Line Routing Question

Post by PaulB »

So I was looking through some older photos of my M38 prior to restoration and noticed that the fuel line from the fuel pump to carb was in a different position than the reproduction fuel line. I can remember that there was an MWO for this, if I am correct. First seeing where the MWO is located and second if this change to the fuel line position would help stave off vapor lock? Also I assume I would have to bend a new line to follow the dimensions of the one that was originally on the jeep (and no I can't find the old line) since they don't make this angle of line.

Thanks...

Hi Paul,

Check out my rebuild thread. I have a picture or two which shows how I formed a pre-formed line to address this issue.
