M38 Carburater

Post by armydriver »

I am re-building a YS Carter for my M38. I noticed a threaded opening in the curvature of the neck of the carb. Is this for the priming pump fitting?

The primer nozzles go on the intake manifold. One for the first two cylinders and one for the 2nd two cylinders. They're some really good pictures in the photo gallery.

Thanks. The jeep came with a Carter F type Carb and no vent tubing, crossover metal or air filter.
