Does anyone have a picture of the leaf spring brackets on a 1960 m38a1 frame and a 1960 cj5 frame they can send me at gwkj@aol.com Thanks

There were only subtle changes in the three M38A1 frames used between 1952 and 1971. These were primarily in the boxing of the front rails and the top of the front rails. The M38A1 had reverse shackle setup on front throughout production. The CJ5 only had the reverse front shackle setup 54/55. I believe you may find a difference in spring pivot bolts between the M38A1 and CJ5 as well.

The M38A1 has excellent illustrations of the spring brackets and is a free PDF download here. Later this evening I can post the CJ5 brackets since I have the Willys parts manual for it at home.
