Fuel problem

well finally got the old gal running but i have a problem if i put gas down the carb it starts up and will start first turn for the next few hour but if i leave for like 6 hours it won't start till i put gas in carb again any ideas Thanks in advance

cracked bowl on the carb? have you checked if it is dry when it won't start?

Every gasket and probably the accelerator pump inside has dried up and cracked.

If you need a field pump or carb rebuilt, Then and Now Automotive in Weymouth does great work. I had problems with both but got them done about 3 years ago and haven't had a problem - with them - since.
