It's strange, I see no dents or damage that would cause these pushed out areas... Oh well, more to fix!

Brian,Ok.
From the bottom windshield opening, and the upper edge of the lower raised area that is flush with the front of the windshield, draw a line horizontally across to the right to the edge of the windshield frame.
From that line, the first hole is centered at 1-31/32"
I know, pretty anal, but by my ruler, 1-15/16" isn't far enough.
The second hole is 1-1/2" below the first, or 1-1/2" center to center.
Both 5/16" drilled through both the inner and outer portions of the frame.
It was this post of yours that generated my comment. If you agreed with me in the first place why offer him precise measurements. It defeated your first post!

Sorry to sound confusing Wes.
My post previous to yours actually recommended drilling the holes with the holder in place if he indeed had one.
I added the measurements if he did not at this point in time have a rack but wanted to go ahead and drill the holes.
Plus, having relied up on the wealth of knowledge that others have so graciously provided on this website, I wanted to offer what little information I had for the sake of the fraternity.
Those measurements are now on the site for others to use, for what it's worth.

Now there is no confusion.
I saw the 2 way reply and added the caution again.
If we step on each others toes explaining something that will save him grief we get to ache a bit but he doesn't get the shaft.

This note, if placed in your second post would have reminded him he should still wait for the rifle carrier which may have a bit of twist in it. Regarding the "bulging" areas - they may not be bulging. It may be that originally the entire top of the windshield had that shape and the middle got flattened perhaps by a poorly fitted top or something that was placed across the middle of the windshield. The holes drilled there indicate some sort of attachment and the wear marks indicate a load may have been there - a light bar, ladder rack??
