Midwest Military Quality

Post by timjuhl »

I wanted to share a recent observation with the group. A couple of years ago I bought a replacement mirror arm from one of the big Jeep suppliers. Last year I noticed the end where it attached had developed a crack (see photo.) I ordered a replacement from MWM and when it arrived I compared it with the cracked one.

The noticeable difference was that the version from MWM had an additional piece of metal sandwiched inside the flattened end of the arm which beefed up this apparently weak area.

This is just another example of the high quality I have always observed in parts that I've ordered from John. There are a lot of crummy parts out there that look good in the box but perform poorly in reality. I appreciate the fact that John bucks the trend and does his best only to sell parts that are equal to or better than original factory stock.
