MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Post by MajBen »

Hi to all my friends on Wes and Ryan's great sites. Do to circumstances beyond my control, I have not been active for over a year but I will never forget all of the help that many of you gave me while I was restoring my M38 Leatherneck; I am within about 8 items (all but one I have on hand and Ryan Miller is trying to get it for me) of having a factory roll out M38 with the exception of the the USMC semi-gloss green. Unfortunately, I have not been in the shop for over a year to finish but the last time I drove it, it sounded like a real fine machine and drove like a dream. Take care, Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all of you who are really interested in restoring and keeping these national jewels alive. Semper Fi Ben D. Daugherty, Sr., Major, USMC, Retired

BTW, I do not wish to hurt any feeling for using Merry CHRISTMAS rather than 'Holidays' but that is the way it is and shall remain so at the Daugherty residence.
