M38 Jeep restorations

I am in the process of restoring 1951 M38 hood number 20890612 and 1952 M38 Hood number 20943735 the 52 is from the 30th inf. 105 Medical group C-3 and the 51 hood numbers are all I can find on it. any one with info on 20890612 would be greatly appreciated.

Got to love those medical Jeeps. Welcome to the forum. I've got some pictures of my dad's M38A1 from Vietnam, so along with his pics it should make a great display.

Google searches on his unit has turned up some interesting stuff. I got his Command daily reports with his signatures on them.

I found some people who served in his unit who were looking for others in the same unit.
If you've got the numbers, that's half the battle.
